Life lately...

Halloween went well. The weather was perfect and the kids had alot of energy to get around to all the houses this year! We soooo look forward to the house at the end that gives out Juice boxes! The kids were thirsty by then. We have made it a tradtion to have pizza at someone's house and the all the Vernondale kids trick or treat together! This has been so much fun and the parents get a chance to catch up with each other too.

I was rear-ended yesterday going to see High School Musical 3! A lady couldn't wait for me to merge into traffic! Luckily there wasn't very much damage to my van. Getting it fixed is just something else to have to do in a busy schedule. I am so glad it wasn't worse!

Today I went to Bible study and was encouraged by Beth Moore's insight on who Jesus is and what He's doing for us. There was alot packed into this weeks video, but the part that stood out the most is the story in Luke 13:10-13. This is about a woman who couldn't stand up for 18 years! She was bent over double v 11 says. Jesus saw her and said "Woman you ar freed from your sickness. He laid his hands on her and she was made erect again and began glorifying God. Jesus didn't care what day he healed her. The synagogue officials had a problem with the timing of this miracle, but Jesus explained to them that it is more important to heal this woman than worry about some man made law!

Beth Moore pulled out the woman's state. She was in a position where there wasn't anything else she could do better or different. Whether it be food, a pill, exercise etc. She was bent over and there was nothing she could humanly do about it! God had her in this position for a reason. His glory was so much more evident in this situation. Noone could attribute her healing to anything else but God's miraculous power!! In this case Jesus healed her.

Jesus is in heaven right now interceding for us on our behalf. When we pray as saved Christians, He hears us and LIVES everyday to intercede for us about everything! Every detail! We are not just pawns wallowing about in a sea of people waiting to be plucked out at any moment to do something for God. We are placed where we are now in this century at this time to reflect God's glory and live relevant lives for him today! We can just live each day, or we can pray for God's will in each day and LIVE more abundantly! He cares about and has a plan for every part of our lives!
