"Therefore, since we have a so great a cloud of witnesses(heroes of the faith) surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance(that which hinders the believer from being a winner), and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of faith who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:1-2 God's power is stronger than anything we might encounter in this sinful world. If our eyes are fixed on Him, we WILL glorify him in everything we do.
The Holy spirit is a constant reminder of how sinful we are. When I even think about sinning the holy spirit reminds me of my weaknesses but is there to lift me up and carry me through!
