So small...

I really enjoy listening to Carrie Underwood! Her songs are real. Her new one is just as good if not her best yet!! So small. "Sometimes that mountian you've been climbing is just a grain of sand... When you figure out love is all that matters after all, it sure makes everything else seem so small!!" God's love, our family's love and our friends love. They all matter. We can't spend our time and efforts looking for something else when the valuable things are those God has already given us! I needed to reevaluate what my efforts in life were going toward. I find myself always striving for something more and feeling the need to be on every commitee at school all the while sacrificing the quiet moments listening to my kids life stories and giving the Godly advice they need to deal with tough peer relationships. It's okay to have goals and dreams, but Life is not about material things or show, it is about internal peace and love that comes from the example of Jesus Christ! If I keep my focus on Him I will teach more, love more, and have more of what matters... Love, peace of mind, kindness, and a spirit that gets replenished every time I give something away. Without those things I am nothing useful. I rambled alot but I hope you followed.
