Swimming, Swimming in the swimming pool!

My brother and sister in law just bought a house a few blocks away. In the back yard is an in-ground swimming pool with diving board and all! This past weekend was a hot one(85) so we all enjoyed the opening of the pool! All of us spent 2 hours friday night and Kira and Derek spent 5 hours saturday and 2 hours on Sunday in the pool! By now they can jump off the diving board into 9 feet of water and swim to the other end without a floaty! They have been taking swim lessons at the YMCA for more than 3 years and they wouldn't take the floaty off! I knew they would get it eventually, but it is always exciting watching them master a new task! I am so proud of them! It's hard not to brag about my wonderful children. God has blessed us so much. Every child grows at a different pace and some learn one thing faster than another, but when they do accomplish something it's the confidence they gain that you cherish most!
