Look Mommy!

This was a beautiful weekend on Sunday and Monday. Derek and I were playing in the backyard. I was putting together a soccer net while Derek was exploring! He usually stays away from the pond but he seemed very interested today! He came running over to me and said he saw some tadpoles! Hugh and I heard the frogs the night before and thought we might be seeing some soon. Well Derek said "I'll be right back mommy and ran in the house and came back with a net from under the fish tank in the living room. I decided to watch what he would do with it and lo and behold he brings me a baby tadpole he had caught with the net! I found this feat amazing considering last week he wouldn't even pick up a worm to fish! I have a feeling I will be seeing alot more of these wonderful creatures of the earth in the days to come.
