Kira and Derek! ( and Skyler)

My Kids amaze me every day! Kira is finished with her first semester of Spanish! She loved it! Now I have to ask her to speak English!

Yesterday, we were all playing with chalk in the driveway and Derek started drawing a line from one end of the driveway to the other and said "My line is longer than your line!" So naturally Kira and Skyler (cousin) had to join the game too. Skyler started to draw a straight line and the Kira started to draw a curvy line in the same direction. Derek and Skyler won drawing to the end and Kira finally finished her line. I wouldnt let them keep going into the street of course! Kira jumped up and said you finished first but my line is longer! I asked why she knew that and she said because there are more inches on mine so I win! She made her own competition! What insight from a kindergartener! Derek chimed in with his wit and said Kira's line looked like a heart monitor! Where he got that I don't know! They grow up so fast. I love to be a part of every minute of it!
