I just got off the phone with the new softball coach at Cedarville college. I talked with him about bringing a prospective student to homecoming. She is interested in playing at the college level in two years. He was very encouraging. He then asked if I was going to play in the alumni game. He said he had 7 -8 players so far and could use one more. How coincidental!
It's providence! I'm playing! I can't leave them hanging! I will have to pull my glove out and dust off the old cleats! I am gonna do it! I am roping my husband into pitching a few practice rounds of fastballs! I probably still won't be ready, but hopefully I will have some fun! The game is Oct 4 Saturday and 2:30 on the lady jackets softball field!
