Summer....

We still have half of summer left to go!!

Just a little update...


I have one softball game left to play and Hugh has 3 left to play and it's only July 22!! Wow!! normally we are playing games into Sept.

Congrats to Hugh and his team that won the mens fastpitch softball tournament in Dunkirk for the first time ever this past weekend!! Good job honey!

Derek just finished basketball camp at Behrend this past week. He has never played or been instructed on the basics before, so this was a great learning experience for him. He is now dribbling up and down the kitchen floor all the time and shooting the ball up the stairs so he gets an instant rebound!! He is practicing his shooting. He can almost get it up to the top step! When using a basket, The 8 foot hoop seems no sweat, but we are still working on the high one (10ft)!

Kira is finally doing cartwheels all over the house any chance she gets!! Gymnastics is finally paying off! We can't wait to see her show Aug 8!

VBS was a success last week too! All I hear are the songs they sang about the rainforest adventure where they learned to share, give, grow and love God and each other! What a joy to see them so excited about learning God's word!

August is filled with birthday parites and hopefully a vacation somewhere!!
