Organic or not?

I have been on an organic kick lately and it seems to be helping my son who has had a few aliments: strep throat, planters warts and colds. I have done some more research on whether organic foods are the way to go or not. It gets expensive to buy all organic produce!

I have found a list of non organic foods that you CAN buy from your local grocer.

Avacodos, Bananas, broccoli, cabbage, kiwi, mango, onions, papaya, pineapples, oranges and tangerines.

www.thedailygreen.com has more info!

There are some foods that should if at all possible be purchased organic.

These are:
Red meat, chicken, tomatoes, strawberries, potatoes, lettuce, grapes and milk.

There is a higher concentration of pesitcide penetration through the skins of the vegetables and fruits. However the meat has a lower concentration of pesticides and is rather low compared to lettuce and potatoes and strawberries.

Eat well, live longer!!
