Hugh and I are working on a Bible study series with our youth group on Creation and Evolution in hopes to prepare them for our visit to the Creation Museum in August.
The kids and I went to the library recently and were looking at some books on Kira's summer reading list. Two of them were about Dinosaurs and Rocks and minerals. These books tell us the earth is billions of years old! It is sad to see such misinformation given to our children as truth! Hugh and I have since informed him of the real truth about the Earth's age and the age of dinosaurs. It can only be between 6,000-10,000 years old due to the magnatisim of the earth. There is a mathematical equation that calculates the temperature of the earth and also tells us that we don't have much longer on the earth! That is another post.
We have discovered a website www.carm.org that answers many of the questions we have about our faith and the Bible. This is a great witnessing tool!
