These are some of the things I think about during my days.
What to do and where to go with my kids. How do I get everything done during the day that I want to and still please everyone I need to!
I pray first! Then I pick up every parenting and childrens magazine and scan for new games and educational inspiration for my kids! One of them is a clue game! My daughter Kira is reading now in kindergarden, so to practice her skills I hide a toy then write a series of clues that lead to the toy. She has to read them to find the next clue and eventually the toy!!
Derek, my 3 almost 4 year old likes to play too! but still relies on big sis to read the clue for him!
My kids love to ride their bikes while I get my running in! I am training for a half marathon in July and I am up to 7 miles so far! I usually end up pushing my kids the last 4! That is my strength training workout!
My husband Hugh teaches math all day to 10th and 11th graders, by night he is an husband, father, landlord, ball player and youth leader in our church! His sphere of influence has grown much bigger than his sphere of concern! We all do our best to support and encourage him in all the work he does! I am so thankful and blessed that he takes the time to help others from the bottom of his heart! I don't appreciate him enough when he fixes things he really shouldn't have to fix! He has learned so much owning rentals! Plumbing, electric, heating, flooring, etc..... How it has paid off! well eventually!!
My latest Bible Study is inspired by Tony Evans! It has to do with Legalism vs. Grace. Tony has a way of clarifying a highly misinterpreted topic!! My conclusion is the Legalism is motived by guilt and Grace motivates us to love!! There is much more I will add to later!
